A committee of Labour Party members and residents will draw up a ease for présentation to Cabinet in protest against high prices for Government homes at Prince of Wales Bay.
Members of the Lutana branch of the A.L.P. at a meeting on Thursday night said that contracts for the sale of these homes were offered at higher prices than those in other subdivisions built at a later date.
These contracts were presented to tenants without a detailed statement of how the costs had been calculated.
The committee will consist of: Mr. Connolly, M.L.C., the Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Dwyer), and Mr. Neilson, M.H.A., the endorsed Labour candidates for Franklin, Messrs.
P. Crawford and M. Jackson, and six residents.
