SHELTER sheds for bus passengers have been erected by voluntary labour at the Lampton Ave. and Howard Rd. junctions with the Northern Outlet Rd.
The shelters, which have been built to an approved design, were constructed by working bees organised jointly by the Goodwood and Lutana branches of the A.L.P.
They were inspected yesterday by the Minister for Lands and Works (Mr. Reece) and the Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Dwyer). The Deputy Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department (Mr. B. J. Donnelly) and Mr. H. Garland, representing the A.L.P. branches, were also present.
Picture shows (l. to r.) Messrs. Reece, Donnelly, Garland, and Dwyer.
