The Lutana-Prince of Wales Bay branch of the A.L.P. is leading in the popular girl contest being conducted by the Â.L.P. in aid of its funds.

The finance committee of the State Executive of the A.L.P. decided yesterday to extend the closing time of the contest to July 5.
 
Those nominated are: Misses R. Benjamin (Denison branch), P. Sundercumbe (Combined Burnie branches), V. Perkins (Punchbowl), C. Cole (Devonport), P. Woods (Lutana-Prince of Wales Bay), J. Fulford (Launceston Women's), B. Rodgers (Moonah), A. .Harrington (Launceston Central), P. McDonald (Port Sorell), and N. Wilson (Industrial).
